We look forward to the relationship of first home owners and builder. Darren was very approachable which meant communication during this build was excellent. Darren made recommendations at certain stages of the build which was highly appreciated. I also had access to the tradies at different times. Integrity were easy to work with from the beginning to end. Excellent finishing and quality of work.
Darren was able to understand my brief and deliver on expectations. We are so thankful we chose Integrity New Homes, Limestone Coast as our builders. We received so much more than just a house in this process. Extremely knowledgeable, approachable and helpful throughout the whole process. The standard of workmanship was exceptional, we couldn't be more delighted with our new home.
Other Home Builders
I have to say some of the trade professionals are very respectful and communicative and some believe are in the war zone. We thought we a very smooth planning to construction process with no major delays or hiccups.... Four years on and we are still chasing Rivergum to fix multiple leaks on our upper floor and window sills that reoccur every winter and now a roof that is aleady showing signs of rust. Poor quality, take no responsibility or genuinely try to fix things, it's not worth the stress, do not build with them.
Dean and Felicity made my first building experience very enjoyable! Felicity was extremely supportive and professional, she was always happy to answer any questions and kept me well informed as the build progressed. Dean was very accommodating with changes I wanted to make mid-build and made suggestions to suit the vision I had for the house.
Custom Built Homes
They were honest, reliable and understanding. It is not just the poor finishes and the 10 different things we had to call them up for to FIX; but it's the lack of communication that really boils my blood. Not only that, they have changed managers and maintenance supervisors like 5 times in the last few months. I am always dealing with a different person and have to start again. Some young ladies on the phones with really poor attitude and palming customers off is just the cherry on top.
It was a tough slog but I am happy with what we have got. As I said, though, once we were past him, our liaison dude has been molto bene. Loved the way that they assured me in writing no penalty for delay due to our settlement being delayed. They really go the extra mile, as they are not a high volume builder. When I ring up, the office lady knows who we are and where we are... If it helps anyone, we have just signed up with F0rm@t homes and everything so far has been good.

Being a tri/split-level home with high, raked ceilings, it was not a simple job but will be completed on time and on budget. I would definitely work with these guys again and recommend INH Central Coast without reservation. Don Sutherland and his team have been excellent to work with on my project from start to finish - we expect to move in 1 June 2020. With every construction project there will be challenges along the way.
Anyway, I'm building 2 more houses with them as we speak. They did one of the slabs last week and did a great job in my opinion – very smooth, and level which becomes important when the time comes to do the flooring. Be wary that the GFC and general economic slowdown has hit the building industry very hard and many builders are financially shaky. Hence they are advertising so aggressively (with "$20,000 free extras" and "we will match any price").
We have had delays with our kitchen and the painter going to hospital, and they are still coming in on time. The tiler is putting tiles we bought recently in our pantry for a few extra bucks... I loved being sent to a proper kitchen place, instead of just any old tradie installing your kitchen. They are currently building displays at seaford heights, if you want a gander at the inner workings, Sultar. Just asking as we are considering building with Format and some first hand experience would be great to hear.
We made a couple of changes during the build which was no problem to do. I would not to hesitate to recommend the team at integrity for all your building needs in Robe. Dean and Felicity built our custom coastal home.
We aren't the only ones who've had similar issues with the build and with them actually fixing their mistakes. We do all of peters painting work and we know when he calls us up for a job that it’s going to be neat, clean and 100% ready for us to do our thing. His communication throughout each project is second to none and his quality control on all his trades always results in a high quality home.
